I had heard about Patricia from a mutual friend. When I looked at her blog, I was quite taken with the photograph of Patricia with her cat on a leash. I’m not a cat person (I’m actually quite allergic), but something about that image spoke to me. I have hired personal trainers in the past and been successful only to have all the weight (plus some!) come back. Here was someone who had lost 43 lbs. and kept it off for years. My previous personal trainers had been thin, fit women all their lives. 
I’ve been working with Patricia for five months now and have lost twenty pounds and six inches. She is amazing. She listens to you and has concrete suggestions that work. I love her exercise program as well. I have been thinking about adding weight-bearing exercise for years, but never doing anything about it. Now, I’m exercising with weights three times a week, which is especially important as we get older.  Finally, I have reduced my A1C from 6.2 to 5.9, from diabetic to pre-diabetic. I’m looking forward to reducing it even further. Patricia rocks.

I love that Patricia is able to run a class across multiple time zones, and varying exercise needs, yet each class feels tailored to my needs. I can tell I’m gaining arm and core strength, and also feel a lot less achy (especially in my back and problematic left heel). The workouts have been especially beneficial to my upper body strength. I can already feel the improvement after approximately eight weeks of workouts. I’m also experiencing far less shortness of breath while climbing stairs.
