DESCRIPTION:All year\, in the midst of a small forest\, we gather in our secret place\, a lovely clearing with benches amid the trees. As we feel the healing power of nature\, we activate the whole body to fun music (requests very welcome!) and move in beneficial ways that we may not do in daily life. We hardly know we’re “exercising” and we get an energy\, fitness\, music\, nature and friendship boost for the whole weekend!\n\nThis is an informal activity\, just for fun and to keep us all moving. Please email me to join\, and RSVP so I know how many are coming\, thank you and hope to see you!\n\nThere’s a donation button here but it is NOT expected\, just if ever you feel inspired 🙂  Note that I don’t have an official permit for “business” in the park so this is just a free and fun activity as part of my mission to get people moving and connected! DESCRIPTION:First class Tuesday\, Jan. 7 at 12:30 pm (8-week series!). \nIf you’re local and available\, please join me for this fun 8-week registered class at Providence Rec Center in Falls Church\, VA! \nIn previous sessions\, I’ve had both men and women\, from their 40s through their 80s in this class. We all work together at our own level to improve balance with creative activities (many set to music) and simple practices to continue at home. \nOfficial description: \nThis class will help participants regain and improve balance skills and move with more ease\, agility\, and confidence. With fun music\, simple physical games\, props and challenges\, you’ll get social and have fun while addressing a wide range of factors involved in balance\, from foot stability to core strength. \nRegistration starts Dec. 3 at the Fairfax County Park Authority website or its publication “Parktakes.”
